Alameda is an island. A real one — surrounded by water, connected to the mainland by bridges, a tunnel, and a ferry. You don't pass through Alameda on your way somewhere else. You come here on purpose, or you live here.

Island Merch is a small brand built around the landmarks, stories, and inside references that make Alameda feel like home. We're not trying to sell you a generic California tee. We're making things that locals actually want to wear — and that visitors can take home as a real piece of the place.

The Designs

Every design starts with research: the real history, the actual geometry, the specific detail that makes something recognizable to someone who knows. The Alameda Theatre blade sign. The Webster Tube portal. The Neptune Beach ferris wheel that no longer exists. The hangar silhouette at Spirits Alley. We use Art Deco travel poster aesthetics — because Alameda's bones are mostly from that era, and because it's the right visual language for a place this proud of its history.

The Products

T-shirts are Bella+Canvas 3001 — the standard for premium print-on-demand, 4.2 oz combed ring-spun cotton, retail cut. Posters are 18×24 enhanced matte paper, museum-quality. Everything is printed and fulfilled in the USA by Printful.

Shipping

Products are printed to order, so please allow 3–5 business days for production plus shipping time. Posters ship in protective tubes. T-shirts ship folded in poly mailers.
